LiDAR Solutions NZ has developed a plug-and-play LiDAR anti-collision system designed for easy installation on machinery and vehicles operating in construction sites, warehouses, and airports. This system is especially useful when operators have limited visibility around their equipment, helping to prevent collisions with other vehicles, machinery, or personnel.
Compatible with excavators, bulldozers, forklifts, cranes, airport ground vehicles, and more, the system detects obstacles up to 50 meters away and provides real-time audio and visual alarms to alert the operator. Additionally, it offers an interface to automatically slow down or trigger an emergency stop if a potential collision is detected, enhancing safety in high-risk environments.

LiDAR Sensor
Continuously scans the surrounding environment in real time, detecting nearby objects and obstacles.
Control Box (with PLC/IPC Integration)
Processes the LiDAR sensor’s point cloud data and generates a three-stage alarm signal (e.g., warning, slowdown, emergency stop).
Signal Tower or HMI (Human-Machine Interface)
Receives alarm signals from the control box and provides instant audio-visual alerts to the operator or asset owner for immediate action.
